Field Trip to the Canada Job Expo

On Tuesday, May 28th, I went to the Canada Job Expo which was hold in NYCC. Before that day, Ming and Hamid suggested to Katie, Lena and me to go there by carpool and shared parking fee. We all agreed and sat time for pick-up in the morining. Everything went smoothly. There, we listened woman's speech about 10 adjectives that describe you and so on. It finished early, so we went for lunch together include Angela. We went to Dragon Pearl Buffet restaurant. It was really good choice. We all enjoyed our lunch and had a good time.

Field Trip to Bluffer's Park

Last Friday, I went to Bluffer's Park with my classmates. I was really excited to go there, because Bluffer's Park is my favourite place to go. When we first got there, we went for a walk along Lake Ontario and took many pictures. We jumped a lot when we took pictures, and got many snap shots of our jumping. It was really funny. We all brought our own food to eat there and shared with each other. I ate many different kinds of food that we brought from our own cultures and it was so delicious. I didn't ride a kayak though. Thank you to Joseph to bringing it and giving us a chance to ride in it. I look forward to the next trip!

Job Interview - West

A: Good morning. I have an appointment for an interview.

B: Hi there, have a seat. I'm JYP, the owner of JYP Entertainment. Did you have any trouble finding the place?

A: No, problem. I could see your company sign easily from the main road.

B: So why don't you tell me why are you interested in this challenging position?

A: I have been dreaming of becoming a singer since I was young. So I decided to take the challenge before it's too late.

B: What are your strengths in singing?

A: I can sing up to 8 octaves and dance.

B: What is your biggest weakness?

A: I'm a night person. So it is hard to wake up in the morning by myself, but it doesn't affecting my work as I perform at night. I've never been late for anything.

B: That's good to hear! We'll be in touch shortly.

Trip to North York Civic Centre

Last Tuesday, my classmates and I went to North York Civic Centre for the Small Business Arts Forum. We started off with Crowdfunding panel session, but the audio was too soft. I understood nothing. A few minutes later, Joseph suggested to us to do other things more interesting, and we all agreed with that. We looked around, from Mel Lastman Square to Douglas Snow Aquatic Centre, including North York Central Library. We also heard about the Welcome Policy and registered our accounts for the city's recreational programs at the Parks & Recreation office. It was a very useful time. I know Joseph always try to make our time meaningful. Thank you for everything. I enjoyed a lot.
